Investment Promotion Zones in Jiangsu Province

There are 10 investment promotionzones in Jiangsu approved by the State Council in Beijing. The investmentpromotion zones are established particularly for the effective improvementof investment environment for foreign investors.

Incentives for export oriented or advanced technological enterprises with foreign investment

According to the policies of the state council for the encouragement of foregn investment, production enterprises with foreign investment which meet requirements may apply to the local city or county foreign economic relation and trade commissions for qualification as export oriented enterprises or advanced technological enterprises, which will be reviewed, examined and confirmed by the Jiangsu Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Commission. The treatment applicable to different field and other preferential treatments are listed below:

Incentives for all kinds of development zones

According to state regulations on encouraging foreign investment, the Zhangjiagang free Trade Zone, Suzhou Industrial Park and three economic and technological development zones of Nantong, Lianyungang and Kunshan, the Development Zones for High and New Technological Industries of Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou and a broad arear of coastal economic open zone, have been established in Jiangsu Province Foreign businessmen investing and operating in these zones will enjoy further incentives.
